Knob Creek Group combines a 20-year coal resource, a rehabilitated power generation asset, and off-grid AI and high-performance computing tenants to create a private data campus.

Coal Resource
Our platform is supported by 200 million tons of deeded underground coal in the Illinois Basin, a historically productive mining region. Using modern long-wall mining techniques, we ensure higher recovery rates, enhanced safety, and operational efficiency compared to traditional methods.
The coal resource provides a secure, controllable fuel supply capable of supporting multi-decade development and stable energy output for institutional-scale operations.
Power & Infrastructure
The retired power plant is being strategically modernized and optimized to serve a dedicated tenant. By focusing on reliability, efficiency, and contracted delivery rather than speculative output, the facility guarantees predictable baseload power while avoiding exposure to volatile wholesale energy markets.
